THE NEW ZEALAND BRANCH
ARDEX New Zealand Ltd has branches in Auckland and Wellington, and New Zealand Head Office is based in Woolston,
Christchurch. Waterproofing membranes such as ARDEX Butynol are manufactured at the Christchurch plant and ARDEX
New Zealand is proud to be a centre of excellence for waterproofing in the ARDEX Group. With the only rubber
manufacturing plant in the Southern Hemisphere, ARDEX New Zealand are market leaders in membrane roofing and
recently launched two innovative New Zealand made waterproofing membranes onto the market.
Engineered solutions for tiling and flooring are also offered by ARDEX New Zealand Ltd. Tiling and flooring specialists
can choose from a wide range of technically superior products, including ARDEX X77, ARDEX X52, Abaflex, ARDEX K15,
ARDEX K11 and ARDEX Feather Finish.

HISTORY
ARDEX New Zealand expanded in December 2001 when ARDEX acquired Norcros Building Products (NBP).
The latter had a similar heritage to ARDEX, with Butynol waterproofing membranes and ABA tile adhesives being
renowned for their quality and technical excellence in the Australasian market. This was a reputation built over 30 years.
Innovations such as Abaflex are unique in the market until this day. Other brands offered by Norcros Building Products
included Superflex under-tile waterproofing systems, Shelter (previously Dunlop) sheet membrane systems and
HydrEpoxy coatings. In 2002 Vibro Products Pty Ltd, manufacturers under licence of ARDEX floor levelling and
adhesives, was acquired and integrated into ARDEX.
