The ARDEX floor preparation training is a is a full-day, hands on and theoretical course which includes:

• Review of current flooring standards;
• Surface preparation;
• Moisture problems, primers, skim coating applications;
• Timber floor applications, bulk filling applications, large area floor applications and ultra quick levelling applications;
• Dealing with contaminated surfaces and old adhesive residue is included with product discussions and questions.

ARDEX trained installers receive a trained installer card and have personalised access to the ARDEX warranty system.

Dealing with moisture issues prior to the application of the majority of floor coverings can be daunting. This course is designed to give installers the confidence on how to deal with rising damp, hydrostatic moisture and dampness. This is a theoretical as well as hands on course covering:

• Standards;
• Testing;
• Preparation and application of the moisture barrier in readiness for the successive layers;
• This course is ideal for any subtrades in the tiling, flooring and waterproofing industries.
